Made at the Four Seasons Resort in Orlando, on the steps down into the garden. We asked for one walk, then one more, and the second one is the frame.Gowns like this one deserve a wide lens and a bit of patience.

Same wedding day, other end of the property. When the sky is that good you make the couple small in the frame and let it happen.Not every wedding photograph needs to be close up. Some of our favourites are the ones where you have to look for them.

Big Sky

Rose petals, a stone facade, and two people who had just stopped being nervous. This is the part of the day nobody rehearses and nobody forgets.We shoot the recessional wide open and keep firing. There is no second take.

Lake Mary, half an hour north of downtown Orlando. A straightforward Central Florida wedding day, covered start to finish.Most of what we do is documentary. We direct when it helps and step back when it does not.

Dade City sits between Orlando and Tampa, and the drive out is worth it for the evening light alone.We travel across Central Florida for weddings, and further when couples ask us to.

Orlando is where we live and where most of our year happens. We know the venues, the light at every hour, and which corner to be standing in when the sun drops.Being local is underrated. It means we are never guessing about timing.

Home turf. Most of our weddings start within an hour of this spot.

Liza and Richard, photographed in Winter Park before their wedding. We shot their wedding in Jamaica a while later.Engagement sessions are mostly practice at being photographed. By the wedding day nobody is stiff any more, which is the entire point of them.

We stayed about twenty minutes past the point most sessions end. The sky kept going, so we kept going.Silhouettes only work when the couple is comfortable enough to stop performing. That takes an hour of ordinary photographs first.

Late sun through a window, hands up between them, faces almost touching. We shot this one long and quiet and did not say anything until it was done.This frame ran in our best of the year and it is still one we point people to.

Liza and Richard again, married in Jamaica after we had photographed their engagement back in Winter Park. Following a couple from one to the other is our favourite way to work.Destination weddings are a large part of what we do. Tell us where and we will meet you there.

Adeline and Aytac, married in France. We walked a long way into the field to get the rows curving behind them the way we wanted.Worth every step. This one still gets asked about more than almost anything else we have shot.

Siena is one of our favourite places we have ever worked. Stone, a lantern, a reflecting pool, and light that does something different every ten minutes.We are Central Florida based but we travel, and Italy is the trip we say yes to fastest.
